Detect light using idealink photoresistive sensor breakout board, easy to use and compatible with our startup shield for Arduino.
It is very accurate sensor breakout designed to detect very small amount of light (photons), so even if you cover it with your fingers it will still sense a huge amount of light. Unless you cover it with any black colored material.
