Getting Started with 3D Printing

3D printing is a rapidly developing new technology that is revolutionizing manufacturing, and you can be a part of it! IdeaLink's 3D printing service couldn't be easier to use, if you can draw it, we can print it for you. We currently print a variety of colors of ABS and PLA plastics and we can print objects up to 16" x 16" x 21"  (40cm x 40cm x 53cm). Some tips for future designers, parts with less overhanging bodies are easier, and thus cheaper, to print. As are designs that require lower tolerances.

The real power of 3D printing is that it enables anyone to create parts with complicated geometry that were very difficult and expensive to make before, for a fraction of the cost. So go ahead, unlock your mind and start making.
